Bi Toku Kyudo Kai

Bi Toku Kyuko Kai

The purpose of the Bi Toku Kyudo Kai is to assist in building a base of All Nippon Kyudo Federation associated archers in the United States. The reason for this is that, we would have no organization and have no instruction without the extremely generous support we have received as an organization and individually from members of the ANKF and from the ANKF organization itself. They assure our continued growth and we should assure their increasing presence.

Ways that we can help build a base of ANKF archers are: provide training in the proper Kyudo techniques, public demonstrations of the ANKF forms and, by example define the benefits of practicing ANKF Kyudo that extend beyond technique. We must also provide regular forums for the ANKF to provide Sensei of the highest order to instruct and inspire us.

Participation in the Bi Toku Kyudo Kai includes having the opportunity to practice regularly, to apply the harmonious etiquette of Kyudo, and working to assure the continuation of the organization and extending beyond the local group, for the expansion of Kyudo in America.

It is the responsibility of each member to pay dues promptly, ascertain the needs of the day and pitch in, participate in the meetings of the organization, practice diligently, provide teaching assistance only when asked, and support the consensus.

By always respecting each other and working out any differences before they become problems, we can be a shining example of what the highest ideals of Kyudo are all about.
